Capri town
The choice for anyone who wants to walk out in the evening: Piazzetta, Via Camerelle, Tragara and the Certosa are all within strolling distance. It costs more but removes taxis and bus timetables. Piazzetta Cerio, behind the Piazzetta, is the quietest part of this area.
Anacapri and the marinas
Anacapri offers wider spaces, a village atmosphere and direct access to Monte Solaro and Punta Carena; the link to Capri town is by bus. Marina Grande simplifies arrivals and departures, Marina Piccola brings you closer to the sea but further from evening life.
When to book
For July and August, book between January and March; May, June and September stay more flexible and offer better light. Arriving without evening plans, the historic centre is convenient: in Piazzetta Cerio, Spirito di Capri serves from 11am to 2am and closes on Tuesdays.
